A substantial set of 14 complete pairs of cobbler's shoe lasts, known as "embauchoirs." They are made of beech wood. Of a very curved shape and in excellent condition, they are still highly sought after for their evocative and decorative quality.
Their lengths vary from 31 to 18 cm depending on size. They are fitted with metal fittings for greater durability in use.
