The burgundy-colored precious resin retains a deep, uniform shine, with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. Only micro-scratches from use are visible, noticeable only upon close inspection and consistent with careful handling, which do not affect the aesthetics or function in the slightest.

The gold-plated metal components — clip and rings — are in very good condition, with original luster and no loss of plating, showing only slight handling marks normal for a vintage item.

The Montblanc emblem at the top of the cap is complete, well centered, and without missing pieces. The engraving on the central band “Montblanc – Meisterstück” remains sharp and perfectly legible.
