Description from the seller
A0000004756
The S.T. Dupont Ligne 1 lighter in Legrand version presents a generally good condition, with visible signs of use in keeping with its age, but fully maintaining its functionality and appeal.
The body shows the characteristic metal finish with a diamond-point pattern, which preserves good definition on most of the surface. Nevertheless, uniform wear is observable on edges and more exposed areas, where the plating has lost intensity, especially on borders, corners, and the upper perimeter. These marks are typical of continued use and provide an authentic patina that reflects its history.
On the main planes, micro-scratches and small wear spots are visible, with no structural impacts or deformations, indicating the piece has been used but properly preserved. The lateral ignition mechanism shows wear in the grooves, though it maintains correct and firm operation.
The lid opens and closes properly, with correct alignment, and the ignition is functional, as seen in the images. The bottom shows more evident marks, including scratches around the fill screw, common in this type of piece due to handling for maintenance.
Overall, it is an original lighter with a very attractive vintage aesthetic, which preserves its structural integrity and function, presenting normal signs of use that do not affect its performance and are consistent with its status as a classic piece.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
Happy bidding!
