Description from the seller

A0000004540

The Waterman Le Man 200 fountain pen is in very good overall condition, standing out for its excellent aesthetic presence and proper functioning.
The body and cap, made of high-gloss black lacquer, preserve an elegant and deep appearance, with good uniformity in the finish. There are light micro-scratches on the surface typical of careful use, with no cracks, splits or material loss, keeping its structural integrity intact.
The gold-plated elements — clip, rings and finishes — are in good condition, with present shine and without pronounced wear. There may be minimal signs of use in specific areas, in line with the piece’s age, but without affecting its overall aesthetics.
The solid 18K gold nib is in very good condition, correctly aligned and free of deformities. It retains its sharp engraving “Waterman Ideal Paris 18K 750” and presents a clean overall appearance. The feed is in suitable condition, ensuring proper ink flow. The pen has been inspected and is delivered fully functional and ready to write.
The closure system works correctly, with a firm cap fit.
A original Waterman case is included, showing visible signs of use and exterior wear, such as scuffs on the corners and a deteriorated label, typical of the passage of time.
Overall, it is a piece in very good condition, ideal for both use and collection, preserving the classic character and fabrication quality of the Le Man line.

Conservation recommendations
For optimal maintenance, it is recommended to use high-quality fountain pen-specific inks, avoid pigmented inks, clean the pen with lukewarm water if it will not be used for a while, dry it completely before storage, and keep it in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Always operate the mechanism gently to preserve its mechanics.

Happy bidding!
