Description from the seller

The Parker Duofold Centennial fountain pen is presented in very good condition, showing an elegant and well-cared-for appearance, in keeping with a high-end writing instrument used with respect over time.

The body and cap, made of blue-gray marbled resin, retain a deep and attractive shine, where the characteristic veining of the material is clearly visible. The surface remains clean and uniform, with only light micro-scratches typical of normal use, difficult to notice at a glance and that do not affect the overall aesthetics of the piece.

The gold-plated elements, including the emblematic Parker arrow clip and the decorative rings, are in very good condition, with a bright finish and no appreciable loss of plating. The engravings and metal details maintain a clear definition, contributing to the distinguished presence of the ensemble.

The solid 18-karat gold nib, adorned with the classic Parker engraving and the ace of spades motif, is well preserved and properly aligned. The nib surface maintains a good aesthetic condition, with no visible deformations, and the feed appears clean and properly seated.

The pen has been inspected and tested, found fully operational and ready for use, offering the smooth and reliable writing experience characteristic of the Duofold series.

Overall, this is a very well-preserved writing instrument, combining Parker’s classic aesthetics with the manufacturing quality inherent to the Duofold Centennial line, making it a very attractive piece for both collection and daily use.

Conservation recommendations

To preserve the pen’s good condition, it is recommended to use high-quality inks specifically formulated for fountain pens, avoiding pigmented inks or those with particulates. If the pen will not be used for an extended period, it is advisable to clean it with warm water, dry it completely before storing, and keep it in a dry place away from direct light and extreme temperatures. It is also recommended to operate the filling system gently to ensure proper preservation over time.

It will be shipped in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
