Description from the seller
The Montblanc PIX No. 36 is a vintage mechanical pencil from the early 1960s, made as part of Montblanc’s 3x series of writing instruments. It features a black resin body with gold-plated trim, the classic white Montblanc emblem at the crown, and a push-button mechanism that advances the lead in small increments. The pencil uses the thicker 1.18 mm lead typical of many Montblanc mechanical pencils from this period, giving it a noticeably different writing feel from modern fine-lead pencils. With its compact proportions, restrained styling and period-correct PIX mechanism, the No. 36 is an appealing companion to Montblanc fountain pens from the same generation and a distinctive piece for vintage Montblanc collectors.
The pencil is in very good, used condition and has been carefully cleaned. Imperfections: light scratches.
