Unique offering of antique carving works.
The old wall console’s origin is not really known, as it is an old richly carved wooden object. This sits on a wooden wall shelf with a top shelf to place something—a statue, clock, vase, or other item. These are somewhat lighter in color.
The wall shelf measures 39 cm by 24 cm.
The wooden block could certainly date from the early 20th century. It is quite long, 49 cm by 8 cm wide, and is richly carved with leaf motifs (acanthus leaves), typical of antique interiors, and it is darker in color.
It has two mounting holes for attaching to the wall.
Carefully packaged for shipment.
