Oumar Ly
Photograph of Senegalese, born around 1943 near Podor, on the banks of the Senegal River in the north of the country – died February 29, 2016. With more than 5,000 shots – mainly portraits and black-and-white group photos, but also outdoor snapshots and reports – he bears witness to daily life and its changes in the historical region of Fouta-Toro, which he traversed at length for 40 years.
