Material & Form: The characteristic, curved pipe head with an integrated condensate/water sack is made of fine figured wood or rootwood.

Mounting: The pipe features a pierced, folding dome lid as well as fittings made of nickel silver.
Mouthpiece/Holm: The detachable, turned Holm (often with ball-knobs) traditionally consists of horn or bone.
