Charming oval jardinière on 4 shell-shaped legs in slip, Art Nouveau, circa 1895-1905, made in the North of France (Onnaing / Saint-Amand type).
High-relief decoration of large white flowers with 5 petals and green leaves on a mottled brown ground with the characteristic vermiculated background.
Festooned edge with a frieze of palmettes and raised pearls.
Interior glazed in glossy raspberry pink, highly decorative.
Dimensions: 21 cm high x 19.5 cm deep x 31 cm wide (35 cm with the outer flowers that protrude 2 cm on each side).
No maker’s mark under the base, original mottled brown glaze, 4 feet with minor wear typical of normal use.
Very good condition, no major cracks or restorations, ready to display.
A highly decorative model and currently fashionable for vintage décor and plants.
