Description from the seller
Sphere-shaped mid-century modern teapot, anonymous manufacture, characterized by an avant-garde design that fuses the geometric rigor inspired by Bauhaus with the futuristic lines of Space Age style.
The item, dating from the mid-20th century, roughly between the 1950s and 1960s, is entirely made of heavy copper, enhanced by a bold arched handle and three semi-spherical brass feet. The structure bears no signatures, stamps, or trademarks impressed on the metal, but stands out for its solid construction and for the presence of its original interlocking lid.
Regarding colors, the piece displays the warm, bright shades of copper and brass, enriched by a visible patina of natural oxidation and small era browning that attest to its historical authenticity.
The overall condition is good, characterized by typical signs of use and age, with the lid specifically showing a slight superficial dent that does not compromise proper closure. The attached photographs are an integral part of the description and faithfully reflect the teapot’s real state.
The total dimensions of the object are 23 cm in height by 20 cm in width, with a substantial total weight of 1.3 kg.
The lot will be shipped via insured and tracked express courier, protected by packaging executed with the utmost care to guarantee the piece’s integrity during transport.
