Extraordinary and sought-after collectible volume published by Franco Maria Ricci (FMR) in 1979, issued within the prestigious luxury series «Les signes de l'homme» (the French edition of I segni dell'uomo).
The volume presents the famous text by Argentine master Jorge Luis Borges, juxtaposed with an evocative and rare iconographic apparatus: the miniatures of tantric cosmology, accompanied by an introductory text by the well-known Orientalist and musicologist Alain Daniélou.
Produced according to the highest standards of typographic and bibliophilic art of FMR: Bodoni types, binding in pure silk, specially watermarked handmade paper, and color plates applied by hand.
