Edward and John Barnard Co - Goblet - .925 silver - 1831

Rare and impressive William IV sterling silver cup or trophy, campana-shaped with a grape and vine decoration around the neck. Weighing a substantial 716 g, the maker is Edward and John Barnard (attributed to). On one side of the body there is an engraved trophy cup from Société des Moulins, probably in Geneva, Switzerland. The body is chased with a band of floral and leaf decoration and two leaf-capped scroll handles, and it is supported on a circular pedestal foot chased with a grape and vine decoration.
