R681FBA 1998 4XV bike. Bought 2001, 1 previous owner Original blue & white, 22391 miles Excellent condition, frame good and straight, it has never had an accident or even an off. Bodywork all original, clean and unmarked, maybe slight scratching from cleaning. Seats both excellent with mesh grip cover on pillion. No rust that I can find. It has always been stored in a dry garage & under cover. Rotary steering damper hidden in yolk. Non-standard parts are - Harris gold rear-sets. Has originals present. Replacement carbon silencer. Have original unused in a box. Rear indicators Fazer mirrors so that I can see. Originals present Braided lines, heavy bar ends, blue sprocket & chain, stand bobbins, fairing protectors. Never crashed/dropped.. Temperature sender unit stopped so fitted an on/off switch, have new sender to fit I don’t believe it has ever seen rain. Might have been used in winter in first 2 years but not since I got it. Ignore the tyres. They are off a IOM TT bike discarded after 1 lap I got free off a friend, they are too old now to safely use. I could never ride to wear them like that. Petrol off at tank and tank empty for transport. Has an alarm imobilisier. Key fob to be placed over receptor disk under right front fairing under throttle where the black circle is. The key is very sticky but will turn. There is only 1 key & 1 alarm fob. The battery is near dead due to the alarm & me not noticing the charger being off. Bike is regularly run & petrol tap turned off to run carbs dry. Not ridden in 3 years but starts easy. Last time ridden it was fine (other than carb petrol leak now fixed). Engine and gearbox all good. Electrics good. Carbs recently refurbished with new jets, seals etc. because of a leak Needs new oil. Transport can be arranged, there are regular vans to UK & Netherlands from here. I believe it costs about 500.
