Description from the seller

These glasses are part of the renowned *Traube* (Grape) series by the German crystal manufacturer Nachtmann. Produced since the 1940s, the *Traube* series is distinguished by motifs of grapevines, leaves, and geometric shapes cut into the crystal. They are crafted using the "cut-to-clear" technique, in which a layer of colored glass is applied over clear crystal, and grinding is then used to reveal the transparent layer beneath. Key features: Material: High-quality lead crystal (24% PbO), often mouth-blown and hand-cut. Design: Distinctive textured stem and richly decorated bowl. Colors: Sets typically come in a mix of colors such as ruby red, cobalt blue, emerald green, amber, and purple. Usage: Often referred to as "Römer" glasses, a traditional German style of wine glass (specifically for Rhine or Mosel Riesling).
Height: 19 cm
Top diameter: 7.5 cm
Bottom diameter: 7.5 cm
Capacity: 2 dl
