Full red morocco binding, 19th century.
Borders of the covers blind-stamped, with gilt compartments.
Complete with its folded plan on p. 93.

Collation: 20 preliminary leaves including the engraved title (Title, "Dedicatio Daniel Heinsius, Nicolas Heinsio filio suo.", Medal carved on wood (front and back) bearing the figure of Virgil, "P. Virgilii Maronis Vita", "Testimonia de Virgilio ..."), 411 pages, folded plan p. 93 "Carte de la navigation d'Enée", 43 pp. of Index.
Headband and initials.

Edition revised by Daniel Heinsius of Virgil's texts: the Bucolics from p. 1 to p. 18, the Georgics from p. 18 to p. 92, the Aeneid from p. 93 to p. 387, Ceiris from p. 388 to p. 405 and Animaduersiones (observations) from p. 404 to p. 411. Work in Latin.

This copy indeed contains the Errata on page 411. We are therefore in the presence of the first reprint.
