Curiosities about the winery and producer
A Millennial story: The name "Dievole" first appears in a lease contract dated 1090. It literally means "God wills" or "God wants", making the estate a historic place with nearly a thousand years of winemaking tradition.
Biological philosophy and Terroir: Dievole is located in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga, in the southern part of the Chianti Classico. The estate has fully converted its vineyards to organic farming and uses large 41-hectoliter French oak barrels for aging, preserving the pure varietal expression of Sangiovese.
