Italian bonbonnière (lidded dish) from the renowned Cristalleria Ottaviano.
This piece is made of high-quality, hand-blown cobalt blue glass in the iconic Murano style.
The deep blue contrasts beautifully with the rich silver-colored details.

The lid and the graceful foot are made of silvered resin (artificial resin).
This technique guarantees exceptionally sharp and detailed casting. The foot is beautifully decorated with three-dimensional cherubs, the side features an elegant grape ornament and the lid is adorned with a rich composition of relief fruit.

Silvering technique:
The cast base is finished with a galvanic silver layer (often referred to as argentato or silver-plated), which is subsequently hand-patinated to darken the deeper recessed areas.
