This is a brown and beige coated canvas crossbody bag from Louis Vuitton.

The Chantilly is defined by its rounded saddle-shaped body and single strap-and-buckle closure, worn hands-free on an adjustable leather shoulder strap. Monogram coated canvas is paired with natural cowhide trim that has developed a deep honey patina through use.

Please check the following points especially carefully before bidding:

A pen-like mark is present on the canvas behind the vertical front strap, visible in photo 2 and photo 16.
The strap shows a stain or discolouration, visible on the right-hand side of photo 4.
The leather around the strap adjustment holes is stretched and misshapen.
The interior pocket lining is deteriorated, with white flaking and surface breakdown visible in the photographs.

Observed condition details:

Exterior: Coated canvas shows scuffing, surface scratches and light whitening in places, with rubbing along the edges and base. Leather trim shows dark water-type stains, uneven discolouration, sunburn-like tonal variation and rubbing, particularly along the gusset and lower trim.
Interior: Leather lining shows discolouration, spotting and darkening. The interior zip pocket lining is deteriorated with visible white flaking and surface breakdown.
Hardware: Gold-tone hardware shows tarnishing, dullness, surface scratches and minor discolouration. Zip pull shows plating loss.
Handles / Straps: Shoulder strap is heavily patinated with stains, darkening and creasing. The leather around the adjustment holes is stretched and distorted. Closure strap tip shows creasing and wear.
Stitching: Stitching appears intact in the photographs, with fading and soiling of the thread in areas.
Odour: No strong odour was noticed by the seller. Perception of odour is subjective and may vary between individuals.
