Louis Vuitton Saint Germain 24 (M51210), vintage.

This is a brown Monogram coated canvas crossbody bag with cowhide leather trim from Louis Vuitton.

The bag features a front flap with a zipped exterior pocket, a snap closure, a zipped main compartment and an adjustable leather shoulder strap. The compact form and classic Monogram canvas make it an easy-to-carry piece for everyday use.

Observed condition details:
- Exterior: The Monogram canvas is overall clean with good pattern definition. There are scuffs, surface marks and darkening on the leather panel of the front zip pocket. The leather piping and trim show patina, darkening and scratches. Light wear is present along the edges and corners.
- Interior: The lining shows overall darkening, staining, creasing and general signs of use throughout, as shown in the photographs.
- Hardware: Gold-tone hardware shows tarnishing, dulling and fine scratches. The strap buckle shows aged, darkened brass. Zippers were operational at the time of photography.
- Handles / Straps: The shoulder strap shows heavy patina with uneven darkening and discolouration. The leather is dry with surface cracking and roughness. The area where the strap meets the bag body shows the most advanced wear, including cracking and deterioration of the leather surface, as shown in photo 10. The adjustment holes are stretched and worn, and bidders are asked to examine the strap holes closely in the photographs.
- Stitching: Stitching is generally intact. Yellowing and light fraying are visible around the strap attachment areas.
- Odour: A faint vintage odour typical of an aged item is present.
