Sideboard - Wood - Enfilade sideboard, 1930–1940

Art Deco period buffet sideboard, generally dating from the 1930s-1940s. It is crafted in precious wood, most likely veneered in walnut or rosewood, featuring horizontal and symmetric wood grain typical of cabinetmaking of that era. Its front shows curved lines on the cabinet doors, framing a central block of three drawers. The handles in gilded bronze or brass adopt stylized wave shapes. The central carved pedestal provides a heavy, geometric base characteristic of late modernist style. A custom glass protective top is placed on the surface. Note: the sideboard has been sandblasted.
