Description from the seller
Iconic advertising manifesto “Café Martin” signed by Leonetto Cappiello, undisputed master of modern advertising graphics.
Note: This is a later edition probably from the 1970s.
The scene, strongly theatrical and dynamic, depicts an exotic figure emerging energetically from a steaming decorated cup, creating a surreal and memorable image, typical of Cappiello’s innovative approach. The explosive movement and the chromatic contrast between the intense red background and the central elements immediately capture the eye.
The slogan “Éviter les contrefaçons” evokes the product’s authenticity, a central element in the advertising communication of the era, while the composition emphasizes the distinctive and recognizable character of the Café Martin brand.
