Simon Vestdijk - Fabels met kleurkrijt - 1938

Copy probably from the possession of Johannes Tielrooy (1886-1953), professor of French Language and Literature at the UVA who played a role from 1915 as a publicist in Dutch cultural life. Ter Braak and Du Perron insulted him and called him ‘a schoolmaster’.

In the copy, in the poem The Parrot, an addendum by Tielrooy has been inserted, and in pencil at the back a rather critical characterization in French of Vestdijk’s poetry by Tielrooy.
