For sale: An impressive and highly detailed oval decorative dish from the renowned Italian brand Capodimonte. This generous dish is a beautiful example of classic Italian craftsmanship and Baroque elegance. The dish is richly decorated all around with dynamic high relief of cherubs (putti), mythological figures, and sea creatures in vivid colors. The graceful, scalloped edges and the central floral motif are finely finished with hand-painted gold (gilded) accents. On the underside the dish is authentically marked with the handwritten model number and provenance mark: "44 Capodimonte Italy". The underside also features the characteristic porcelain support feet that are inherent to the artisanal production of such large relief pieces.
