Elegant and rare pair of busts depicting Saint Peter and Saint Paul, petrified marmorine stone, a smooth and compact material, not plaster nor scagliola – therefore ideal for outdoor display.

Both busts are mounted on premium marble bases in excellent condition. The sculptures show well-defined features and meticulous detailing, the handiwork of an expert, probably an Italian sculptor active in the mid-20th century (approximate period: 1940s–1960s).
