It is crafted from solid brass, confirmed by its weight of 106 grams and its completely non-magnetic properties. It features a beautifully shaped, scalloped shield silhouette and retains its original brass hanging ring at the top. Measuring 26 cm x 15 cm, the intricate detailing of the ropes, sails, and hull is crisp and highly pronounced.
A unique addition: Suspended from the top center is a matching vintage shoe brush. The long brush handle features a wooden core decorated with elegant, pierced silver-toned scrollwork, framed by non-magnetic brass trim. The brush is fitted with stiff, natural bristles. This combination indicates it was originally a handsome wall-mounted boot or shoe cleaning set, likely echoing the classic English country house aesthetic.
