The Balvenie 12 Years Old Golden Cask is a Scottish whiskey made with patience and mastery at the Balvenie Distillery, it is a whiskey created by contrast, where the warmth of the Caribbean merges with the freshness of Scotland. This addition to our collection is a testament to the art of barrel aging, offering a rich tropical complexity without equal.
Matured for 12 years in traditional whiskey barrels, this malt whiskey initially develops the distinctive notes of The Balvenie: warm honey and soft vanilla. Subsequently, it is finished in special barrels seasoned with rum, created by mixing rums aged under the Caribbean sun with others matured at low temperature in the air of Speyside, Scotland. This unique process infuses whiskey with intense layers of candied fruit, toasted oak and delicate spices.
