Cross - Bronze, Wood - 1950-1960

A particularly decorative Christian crucifix, crafted in wood and featuring gold-/bronze-colored metal ornaments.

In the center is the crucified Christ in relief, with the traditional INRI plaque above it.

At the four ends of the cross are four separate square relief panels depicting winged angels/cherubim. The various angels bear religious and musical attributes, giving the cross a striking and richly decorated character.

The combination of warm wood, dark patinated metal, and gold-colored accents creates a beautiful contrast.

At the top, a hanging eye is present, so the cross can be mounted on the wall.

The cross is in used vintage condition, with signs of age and wear clearly visible in the photos. There is, among other things, patina/discoloration of the metal and light wear to the wood. These signs contribute to the authentic character of the object.
