• Why You’ll Love It
This is one of those CHANEL bags where the color combination does half the work before you even get to the details. Deep burgundy caviar against black leather trim is gorgeous, rich and a little unexpected — then CHANEL put that enormous stitched CC across the front so there is absolutely no mistaking what it is.

The Medium Filigree is also much more functional than its vanity-case shape suggests. The wraparound zippers open the bag wide, while the structured, divided interior keeps everything from becoming one giant pile. Carry it by the black top handle for the full vanity look or use the chain strap when you want your hands back.

And caviar was exactly the right leather for this design. It gives the bag texture, structure and durability while the burgundy-and-black combination keeps it from looking like every other CHANEL in the room.

• Excellent Pre-Owned Condition
The burgundy caviar leather remains beautifully structured with rich, even color and strong diamond quilting. Contrasting black leather trim, top handle and leather-woven chain strap present beautifully overall. Gold-tone hardware retains excellent presence, and the structured vanity silhouette remains well defined.

The partitioned leather interior presents very well overall, and both wraparound zippers remain intact and functional.

This is the Medium CC Filigree Vanity Case in the Burgundy and Black configuration from 2019. Specialist references document this exact combination as burgundy diamond-quilted caviar leather with contrasting black trim, black top handle, leather-threaded gold-tone chain and a partitioned black leather interior. The Medium measures approximately 8.25” x 6” x 3”, distinguishing it from the considerably smaller Filigree vanity versions.

Serial 28614286 is a 28-series number consistent with the bag’s 2019 production. The oversized stitched CC is one of the defining features of the Filigree line and gives this model a much stronger visual identity than a conventional vanity case.

The resale market also supports treating an excellent burgundy Medium as a strong $3,000-plus CHANEL rather than pricing it against ordinary cosmetic cases. A recent Burgundy Medium in Very Good condition sold through The RealReal at $3,345, while an Excellent burgundy example sold at $4,375. Excellent examples of the Medium Filigree in other colorways have also sold around the $3,870–$3,990 range.
