Antique-style ceiling chandelier in gilded brass with white opaline glass and a blue ceramic lower insert, dating from 1900–1910, 90 cm high and 28 cm wide, weighing about 3 kg, in excellent cosmetic condition and in working order.

Magnificent ceiling chandelier from the late 19th or early 20th century, directly inspired by the old Napoléon III/Victorian style oil lamps. This luminaire of great elegance combines noble materials and meticulous finishes, ideal for bringing a historic and warm touch to a classic or contemporary interior.
Characteristics and Materials:
• Structure: Richly chased gilded brass with superb volute motifs and Rocaille-style decorations on the side arms.
• Shade: Impressive white opaline glass blown in a dome shape, diffusing a soft and even light.
• Decorative element: Beautiful lower insert in blue night / cobalt blue enamel ceramic, highlighted by a brass fleur-de-lis.
• Suspension: Original decorative brass-link chains.
Lot condition:
• Opaline: Excellent cosmetic condition, no cracks, no major chips to report.
• Brass: Very nice original patina with slight traces of natural oxidation that attest to its authenticity.
• Electrification: To be checked/restored (the system is old; plan to bring it up to current standards depending on intended use but remains functional with the existing cables
