Antique bell mounted on a wide leather strap with a buckle.
The cowbell was manufactured between 1880 and 1910.
The bronze bell, together with the strap, was used as a cowbell in the Swiss Alps.
The bell is marked and features an anchor emblem, suggesting that a ship's bell was used as a cowbell!
The bell has a beautiful clear tone and, over time, has acquired a lovely patina.
The authentic leather collar is handmade (see details) and bears signs of age.
The whole piece is in original and very decorative condition.

De koebel is tussen 1880 en 1910 vervaardigd.
De bronzen bel, tezamen met de riem, werd gebruikt als koebel in de Zwitserse Alpen.
De bel is gemerkt en heeft een afbeelding van een anker wat doet vermoeden dat een scheepsbel als koebel werd gebruikt!
De bel heeft een fraaie heldere klank en heeft heeft in de loop der tijd een fraai patin verkregen.
De authentieke leren halsband is handgemaakt (zie details) en heeft ouderdomssporen.
Het geheel is in originele en zeer decoratieve staat.
