A unique collectible from 1986 for lovers of vintage synthesizers, music history, and fans of Robert Moog's work.

A special piece of music history: the Kurzweil Ensemble Grande Piano (model EGP), produced in Japan in 1986. This instrument was one of Kurzweil's first digital keyboards for the consumer market and was developed with the involvement of synthesizer pioneer Robert Moog — the legendary name behind the Moog synthesizer. Instead of pure electronic synthesis, the EGP used digitized samples of acoustic instruments for a more realistic soundscape, something that was groundbreaking at the time.
