Beautiful and decorative pair of antique Villeroy & Boch vases, produced in Bonn, Germany.
Both pieces feature an elaborate blue-and-white decoration, combining a dense geometric/floral pattern with framed romantic landscape scenes depicting trees and countryside. The rims are finished with a warm brown/gold-toned border, creating an attractive contrast with the cobalt-blue decoration.
The two vases have different but complementary shapes and form a particularly attractive decorative pair.
The underside of one vase bears the historic V&B BONN / VILLEROY & BOCH factory mark, clearly visible in the photographs. The second vase shows a more worn/partially visible base mark.

Tall vase: approx. 25 cm
Rounded vase: approx. 22.5 cm
Condition:
Very good antique condition considering their age. There is visible craquelure/crazing to the glaze, particularly noticeable on the underside, as expected on older ceramic pieces. There are also signs of age and wear around the rims and bases. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the condition description.
