Art Deco marble inkwell – red Belgian marble – circa 1920–1930

Beautiful original Art Deco desk inkwell, executed in heavy solid red-pink marble with characteristic white and gray veining.
The geometric design consists of a rectangular marble base with a raised cube-shaped inkwell and a hinged marble lid, finished with a brass hinge.
Probably manufactured around 1920–1930.
