Description from the seller

Rare and spectacular Orthodox icon produced by the famous official laboratories of the Moscow Patriarchate in Arzamas/Sofrino (ХПП СОФРИНО). The piece features at the center the composition of the “Virgin of the Burning Bush” (Neopalimaya Kupina), surrounded by a rich matrix of dozens of micro-reproductions of Marian icons and the principal Saints of the Orthodox tradition. At the four corners and along the side margins are depicted the Great Liturgical Feasts and Gospel scenes (including the Baptism of Christ, the Entry into Jerusalem, and the Resurrection).
Techniques and Materials: High-definition chromolithographic printing with gold details, applied to a solid wooden panel.
Marks and Stamps: On the back is the original ink seal of the ecclesiastical art workshop ХПП СОФРИНО (KhPP Sofrino), guaranteeing origin and authenticity of the piece, together with an era catalog number.
Condition: Good overall preservation, with natural patina and light signs of time on the edges and on the back attesting to its age and history.
Dimensions: Large format (square).
A piece of great visual impact and collectability, perfect for enthusiasts of Orthodox sacred art and collectors of Russian icons of the 20th century.
