German-made violin from the late 19th century, model labelled Stradivari, in good condition and tested functional; weight 420 g; one instrument with no extras.
Description from the seller
Very old 4/4 violin from Mittenwald. The violin was built at the end of the 19th century, the violin has had an expert repair to the scroll, but that must have been done years ago.
The violin has a wonderfully warm sound.
The measurements are:
Total length. 59.5 cm
Mensur (scale length). 32.5 cm
Corpus. 35.8 cm
Taille. 11.6 cm
Width upper bout. 16.6 cm
Width lower bout. 20.5 cm
Violin and bows that are described as 'certified' or 'accredited' contain images of their certificates and therefore have a higher degree of documented certainty regarding maker, origin and age than instruments described only as 'labelled' (violins) or 'stamped' (bows), for which we do not provide any warranty.
