Beautiful antique Dutch silver link bracelet with a central blood coral in cabochon form, adorned with a fine silver floral detail.
Around the coral, the silver is worked with graceful, baroque floral motifs and characteristic silver beads.
Goldsmiths from the Amsterdam School loved combining irregular, hammered or repoussé silver with a contrasting cabochon gemstone, with blood coral or moonstone being favorites.
Equipped with an old sword-style clasp used between 1906 and 1953.
Weight is 12.23 grams.
Length is 16.5 cm.
After decades of careful collecting I have decided to part with (part of) my collection. I wish these special objects a place with a new enthusiast who understands the value of historical preservation. It is time that these pieces receive the attention they deserve, so they will be preserved for the long term.
