Up for auction is an iconic piece in the history of eyewear: a pair of vintage Porsche Design by Carrera sunglasses, probably from the 1980s or early 1990s.
This model, 5638, stands out for its elegant mixed frame that combines the classic tortoiseshell acetate (with warm shades of brown, amber, and hints of dark green/blue) with refined gold-plated metal details, such as the bridge and hinges. The lens shape is a sophisticated reinterpretation of the panto style, slightly squared but with rounded corners, suitable for both men and women.

The sunglasses are in excellent vintage condition.
