Description from the seller
54 unused ceramic wall tiles 10 × 10 cm – blue corner motif – Made in Germany
Beautiful large lot of 54 unused ceramic wall tiles, each approximately 10 × 10 cm, with a cream-colored/white-glazed surface and a small cobalt blue decorative corner motif in all four corners.
When the tiles are placed side by side, the corner decorations together form a recurring blue ornament. This makes the lot particularly suitable for an interior project, restoration, kitchen, fireplace surround, backsplash, or other decorative application.
The tiles have a lightly speckled glaze and show small natural variations in shade and surface among them. The back features a regular relief for mounting. On several pieces, the words “Made in Germany” are clearly printed on the back, along with various production numbers.
The lot comprises old stock that has never been used or installed. As a result, the fronts are predominantly very well preserved. Due to storage and age, occasional light surface signs, minimal edge or corner marks, and small differences between individual tiles may be present.
Quantity: 54 tiles
Dimensions: about 10 × 10 cm per tile
Total area: about 0.54 m² without grout
Likely origin: Germany
Production period: probably second half of the 20th century, circa 1970–1990
Material: ceramic
Finish: glazed, cream-colored/white with cobalt blue corner ornaments
Markings: Made in Germany and various production numbers on the back
Condition: unused / old stock, predominantly very good condition with possible light storage marks.
An interesting detail is that additional/reserve tiles of the same type are available.
