Sony DD-IC5 "Digital Data Viewer" IC electronic dictionary* The social studies model, supplied with its carrying case and its manual - the manual has the original warranty page printed on the back cover (long expired). Early 2000s. No original box. *2. World Time Clock Calculator - folding desk model* A champagne-finished folding unit that opens to a large LCD above a keypad. - The display shows the year, the month and date, a full month calendar grid and the time to the second - The keypad doubles as world-city keys - London, Paris, Cairo, Moscow, Karachi, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney, Wellington, Honolulu, Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, New York and Rio de Janeiro - alongside the four arithmetic keys, percent and an alarm - Sits in a fitted wooden base - Tested and confirmed working. Casio IS-N8000 Igaku-Shoin edition electronic dictionary - Computer Casio IS-N8000, the Igaku-Shoin edition of Casio's EX-word electronic dictionary, made for nursing and medical students on the Japanese market. The lid carries the Igaku-Shoin angel logo and the unit is supplied in its matching Igaku-Shoin zip case. The dedicated keys along the top row open the built-in titles directly: multi-dictionary search, Kojien / Britannica, the nursing encyclopaedia and its English-Japanese section, medical English-Japanese and clinical record terminology, therapeutic drugs and nursing diagnosis, clinical testing and the nursing process, plus favourites / library and the study notebook. Layout: a colour main screen above, and a second touch panel below the Japanese QWERTY keyboard. Along the edges there are a 3.5 mm headphone socket, a micro-USB port and two slots for expansion cards. Supplied as photographed: the dictionary and its Igaku-Shoin zip case. No AC adapter, batteries or expansion card are included. Condition: the unit is UNTESTED - it has not been powered on, so no statement is made about whether it works. The interface and all of the dictionary content are in Japanese. Cosmetically the body is clean with light handling marks; the main screen shows smudges and fine surface marks, and the zip case is soiled and shows wear.
