Coat rack - Aluminium - Rotating coat rack

A special and playful design object from the 70s. This swiveling wall coat rack is made of aluminum and features several elegantly curved hooks that can be unfolded and rotated from a central pivot. This creates not only a practical hanging system but also a sculptural object on the wall.

The organic linework and the use of aluminum align perfectly with the Space Age and modernist design movements of the 60s and 70s. In this period designers experimented extensively with new materials and futuristic shapes, where functionality and form went hand in hand.

Thanks to the swiveling construction, the hooks can be folded in compactly or spread wide for extra hanging space. The coat rack is therefore both decorative and particularly practical in use.
