A striking exemplar of early-to-mid 20th century German fine silver craftsmanship, this regal lavaliere pendant necklace is forged in high-purity 935 silver. The elongated teardrop pendant features a delicate openwork gallery framed by scrolled milgrain borders and a tapered, articulated bail with fine hand-engraved detailing. Securely held in corner tab prongs is an elongated oval faceted aquamarine-blue synthetic spinel (or faceted blue crystal) radiating brilliant pastel clarity and lively light return. Suspended from a sturdy 59 cm sterling silver Venetian box chain, the articulated bail is stamped with an authentic 935 silver purity hallmark.
