Leather worked and tooled, finished with metal studs along the edges. Decoration: depiction of fish (resembling koi carp) and upper floral friezes with water lilies or lotus flowers. Style: reminiscent of artistic leather goods production and early 20th-century furnishings, in the Art Nouveau spirit.
Probably of Japanese origin.
