“Haunted Night V.1 & Money Grows V.1” is a lot composed of two luminous works that reinterpret two very different imaginaries through the same pop, ironic, and contemporary language.

Haunted Night V.1 is a striking encounter between classical art and pop culture. Set in a nighttime landscape reminiscent of Van Gogh’s swirling brushstrokes in The Starry Night, the work shows a suspended and unsettling presence that emerges in the sky above a cemetery. The smiling face, highlighted by a bright fuchsia LED, transforms the scene into a surreal and dreamlike vision, suspended between melancholy, mystery, and irony.

Money Grows V.1 tackles the theme of growth, abundance, and wealth through a small green and smiling creature, from whose back no leaves or flowers grow, but banknotes. The subject thus becomes an immediate and ironic metaphor for the idea that money does not fall from the sky, but can grow as the result of something cultivated over time.

Two works with different atmospheres and meanings, but united by the ability to transform familiar symbols of the collective imagination into new, luminous, and contemporary images.

Technique and Creation:

The works are created through high-definition digital artistic processing and printed on 1 cm Forex backing, with a transparent resin coating, protective and scratch-resistant on the front.

In Haunted Night V.1, the fuchsia LED highlights the figure suspended in the sky, creating a strong contrast with the cool, painterly tones of the landscape. The light turns the character into a luminous apparition that seems to truly float above the cemetery.

In Money Grows V.1, the green LED envelops the composition and follows the contour of the figure and the growth of banknotes, creating an intense and scenographic luminous presence. The green of the light dialogues with that of the subject and with the dark background, increasing the visual depth of the work.

Both works are handcrafted in Italy and brought together with LED technology to create a glow effect capable of changing the perception of the composition day and night.

Inspiration and Curiosity:

Haunted Night V.1 arises from the meeting of the nocturnal magic of post-impressionist painting and contemporary pop imagination.

The scene reflects on the boundary between dream and fear, between what belongs to the real world and what seems to emerge from darkness. The fuchsia LED introduces a deliberately ironic and modern component, becoming a true source of light within the scene.

Money Grows V.1, on the other hand, comes from a simple yet powerful visual short circuit: what would happen if money really grew like a natural resource?

The banknotes that rise upward take on the role of branches and leaves, transforming wealth into something that must be cultivated, fed, and made to grow over time.

The character maintains a calm and serene expression, almost suggesting that abundance is not the result of haste, but of patience and strategy.

Together, the two workstell two different forms of transformation: one more emotional and mysterious, the other more ironic and symbolic.
