This business card tray is an authentic piece produced by WMF. It stands 28 cm high, about 29 cm wide, and weighs 840 g. Made between 1900 and 1910 in silver-plated pewter in a style typical of the Jugendstil production of Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik, and it is present and visible in WMF catalog no. 252 on page 168. It depicts a girl holding a water jug, surrounded by grape clusters, branches and leaves.
Well preserved, it shows some signs of age, but overall it is in excellent condition, with no missing parts or fractures. Coeval in all its parts and in its original patina.
A splendid testament to the past, yet at the same time a precious antique object of great decorative value, distinctive and collectible for its excellent state of preservation.
