Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Moldavite silver pendant set in 925 sterling silver, featuring natural moldavite from the Czech Republic (origin Moldavia), weighing 5.2 g and formed about 14.5 million years ago, with a stainless steel chain and jewelry box and IMCA certificate.
Description from the seller
Pendant crafted with authentic sterling silver (925 thousandths) setting the natural moldavite from the Czech Republic. The quality of the piece is first-rate. The lot includes a jewelry box from our CRATER brand and a stainless steel chain. Lovely design and excellent quality.
Moldavites are minerals formed from the fusion of material due to the impact of a large meteorite on the Earth's surface. Moldavites are associated with the impact crater located in Nördlinger Ries (Germany), from which they were ejected to the surroundings of the Moldau River in the Czech Republic (hence their name) and have an age of formation of 14.5 million years.
Moldavites are increasingly scarce; each moldavite piece is different, so each one is unique and unrepeatable. A sure value that appreciates every day.
A fantastic and exclusive jewel.
Moldavites belong to the tektite family (from Greek tektos, melted); they are natural glass objects formed by the impact of large meteorites on the Earth's surface. Tektites are the driest known minerals, with an average water content of 0.005%, suggesting that tektites formed under very high temperature and pressure (similar to those needed to form diamonds).
With authenticity certificate IMCA (International Meteorite Collectors Association)
Best regards and our best wishes.
