Manara, Milo - Original page - Piranèse - Planche 22

China ink and watercolor (wash) for this original page taken from "Piranèse, the Prison Planet".

The rather rare technique used by Manara is outside his usual habits for creating pages. This gives him a whole other dimension, more accomplished and with more depth, more relief.

As is customary with Manara, the size of this VERY LARGE FORMAT PAGE is quite appreciable and thus lets his talent shine through across 6 large panels (3 strips) teeming with characters with very expressive faces.
