Of distinctive angular form with a shaped rim and black handle, the jug is hand painted in a bold geometric design combining powder blue, vivid orange, cream and green. The decoration retains the visible brushwork characteristic of Myott’s hand-painted wares of the period.

The underside bears the Myott Son & Co. England factory mark, together with Hand Painted, Made in England and pattern number 8289.

In good vintage condition, with light surface wear, minor scratches and small areas of wear to the painted decoration consistent with age and use. No significant chips or cracks visible.
