Goyard – Old travel trunk in Goyardine canvas – France – First half of the 20th century
Description
Antique Goyard travel trunk, made in the characteristic Goyardine canvas with its emblematic chevron motif.
The piece preserves various E. Goyard marks visible on the canvas. It features a rigid structure with wooden reinforcements, metal hardware, locks marked “SURETÉ,” and a leather handle.
On the front, the initials “J.C.A.” are painted in red, a distinctive detail of personalized travel trunks of the period.
The interior retains its original light-toned textile lining, as well as the internal securing straps.
Approximate dimensions:
60.5 × 38 × 19.5 cm.

Good overall condition considering its age and use.
