Anna Valla (1951) - Palinsesto Giallo

Anna Valla was born in Saluzzo (Cuneo) in 1951, where she lives and works. She trained within the cultural milieu of the Turin avant-garde of the 1970s, absorbing its desire for expression “beyond the conceptual.” Two dimensions essentially characterize her work: color and gesture (the gestural mark), yet her painting does not exhaust itself in one or the other, nor does one dominate the other, in a relationship of mediated balance and coherent complementarity.

Work realized in the silkscreen studio of Studio Fornaresio and the films produced by the artist, on every work a hand-applied intervention was made.
